Grundfos Partners get expanded toolbox on Sharepoint


Grundfos Gulf has launched a new and improved version of its popular GGD Service Toolbox that allows the company’s Authorised Service Partners throughout the Gulf region to access the very latest product and service information quickly and easily, through a full range of PC and devices.

Built on an established Microsoft Sharepoint platform, the new Toolbox site enables Authorised Service Partners to access, store and share information with the company, and between themselves, from a single, secure central point. This reduces communication delays and ensures that, wherever they are, Partners have the very latest product and service information at their fingertips, 24/7.

Based on an expanded and improved version of the company’s previous Service Toolbox, the new site not only speeds up and secures inter-network communication and reporting, but enables Partners to download a wealth of supporting documentation, from Modification Notes and Method Statements through to product handbooks and presentations, Health & Safety information and templates for Annual Maintenance Contracts.

Also included are Maintenance Checklists for the company’s extensive range of pumps and pump systems, designed to provide immediate answers to Partners’ most frequently asked questions.

The new site is being administered and regularly updated by Grundfos’ Service Department personnel, to ensure that the Partner network receives prompt updates on products and other developments, and that any network feedback can be picked up and actioned quickly.

Access to the site is password protected for improved security, and is available to nominated service-responsible personnel within all Dealers and OEM Partners, by personal invitation. The new site is part of a package of support and training designed to ensure that customers throughout the Greater Middle East can receive the same guaranteed level of skill, product knowledge and service support excellence for their Grundfos pumps and systems whether they deal direct with the company, or through one of its highly trained and growing network of Service Partners, who are authorized to operate on its behalf.
